Tortilla Roll Ups~BAMA Caviar~and a LUCKY Pom~Pom!

You may or may not know this~
surely you know this~
if you don't know this...where have you been?
ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE
WON the BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game!

I'm almost positive it's because I wore my lucky pom~pom that I've been wearing and carrying
to games for the past 10 years!
Or...
It could be because ALABAMA has:
*FANS!
Fans who are deep rooted in Southern tradition! Fans who are spirited!
Fans who are LOYAL to the end!
Fans who LOVE their team.
*NICK SABAN!
Best coach in NCAA Football!
A classic~classy coach who gets the job done!
A no~nonsense kinda guy...who fights to the end!
Not to mention he's totally the cutest coach in the NCAA...{that's a biggie!}
*CHEERLEADERS!
Cheerleaders who represent spirited~CUTE~SOUTHERN charm in every sense of the word!
*MAJORETTES!
They glisten! They shine! They all wear the same color of RED lipstick!
They have big, wavy BLONDE hair and it stays looking great the entire game!
I wanna know what hairspray they use.
*TRENT RICHARDSON!
Excuse me!
He's only the sexiest running back EVER!
Trent Richardson is a BEAST~he's unstoppable!
My sissy and I have a HUGE crush on TRENT! {yes we do!}
*Million Dollar Band!
The title speaks for itself!
*AJ MCCARRON!
One of the classic~most outstanding quarterbacks in the history of ALABAMA football!
AJ is the perfect specimen of a quarterback!
Calm under pressure and ADORABLE too!

BAMA may have won for any or all of these reasons...
but I feel certain my lucky pom~pom had something to do with it!
ALABAMA football calls for CELEBRATING and FOOD!
I whipped up two of my favorite tailgating traditions.
Tortilla Roll Ups~
and
BAMA Caviar~

  3. Congrads!
And it just had to be your pompom hair and Gregs pants that won the game. LOL
I am so excited that you posted the Bama's Caviar. I so want to make this for the Saints game this weekend.

  4. My hubby was rooting for Bama! Congrats on another win. Now..YOU start praying for another Packer win this Sunday! One of our coaches lost his 21 year old son in a tragic accident here this week. The boy walked onto ice that wasn't frozen solid and fell through. They could hear him yell for help but it got there too late. So sad...the whole team/town are mourning this fine young man that was on the Dean's List and an all around good kid. xo Diana

  10. You are the CUTEST football fan EVER!!! I'm pretty sure it was that pom-pom that did it. Next year, I'm getting a lucky OU pom-pom....this must be why they choke and lose all the big games. I never knew! ;)

    PS...love me some tortilla roll-ups!

  11. I just wanted to say, that I never comment on your blog...but I do read and follow you everywhere! I'm from Alabama, even though my husband graduated from Auburn...I have a spot in my heart for Alabama football! I cried so much reading about Murphy, for several reasons...I love dogs and I have a Murphy (she's a girl labradoodle). Not sure why I'm sharing all this now, seeing your blog posts just brought back memories of your posts any way, just wanted to say I love your blog and even though I don't comment all the time, I am reading and inspired by your posts.
    Thanks,
    Debbie
